Chanel Mademoiselle
The Chanel team cherishes every bit of the great designer’s heritage, and in order to perpetuate her memory, it was decided to create a series that is directly related to her personality. Thus, in 2012, the first collection of women’s watches called Mademoiselle Prive appeared. In these wonderful accessories are those images and symbols that the great Coco Chanel often thought about and which she loved so much. These are flowers and animals, comets and stars, as well as oriental symbols and patterns, which were found on a screens once brought from China.
To implement this idea, Anita Porsche was invited – a talented and experienced artist-emolier from Switzerland, who had already worked with such famous companies as Patek Philippe, Ulysse Nardin, Vacheron Constantin and many others. She was the one who was engaged in decorating the watch dials, creating unique patterns and images on them, similar to those on the designer’s favorite Chinese screens. The creation of the pattern was carried out using the most complex technique of hot enameling – when each layer is fixed by firing at a certain temperature.
