This is the Rolex GMT Master 2 Oyster perpetual date better known as the Batman. The design has been copy by many but none have gotten close to the brand’s prestige and the craftsmanship of the highly accurate mechanical movement.
The batman has an Oystersteel body measuring 40mm x 12.2mm in thickness and 48mm when measure from lug to lug. The case design is flat and sits very well on the wrist. Anyone with a small wrist as small as 14cm in circumference will find this Rolex very comfortable.
The jubeli bracelet is more comfortable than the oyester bracelet, and in my opinion, aesthetically looks more luxurious with is 5 link design that has a combination of satin and polish finish.
The bracelet also comes with Rolex famous folding Oysterlock clasp with Easy link system that allows you to adjust the bracelet by — or + 5 mm.
The case has a bidirectional bezel with ceramic insert in black and blue with numerals and indices with platinum deposits. This highly scratch resistance cerachrom bezel surrounds the deep black dial that features large markers and broad hands made of white gold and filled with luminescent material for high legibility at night.
The blue hand is the GMT hand which is use for a second time zone. You can adjust the hour separately or adjust everything in sync.
Under the solid case back is Rolex automatic movement caliber 3285 based on caliber 3255. This certified chronometer works at 4 hertz using 31 jewels and delivers up to 70 hours of power reserve. The movement is adjusted in 5 positions with a -2 +2 sec/day precision and features Rolex optimized blue Parachrom hairspring which is 10 times more precise than a traditional hairspring.
