This particular model (reference: 1-36-04-01-02-50) has a 40 mm stainless steel case in brushed finish with polished edges. The case is fairly flat with a fluted bezel and overall thickness is about 12.20 mm.
Under the sapphire crystal is an elegant varnished silver dial that features a moon phase display between 10 and 11 O’clock position with a blue background and silver moon. Look at the other side of the dial and you are treated with a panorama date window by the 4 O‘clock position.
The dial also has engraved black roman numerals and indexes with galvanized railroad chapter ring to read the minutes with better precision.
The blued polished hour and minute hands are also very elegant and the needle seconds hands features a double “G” logo counterweight.
The timepiece comes paired with a 20 mm black Louisiana alligator strap with monotone stitching and folded edges. Keeping it secure to the wrist, is a stainless steel folding buckle.
Under the hood Glashutte is using 3/4 plate with Glashutte stripe finish for the in house movement caliber 36-04 which is based on caliber 36-01.
This sophisticated automatic chronometer is adjusted to 6 positions and it beats at 4 hertz using 43 jewels. The caliber features quick set for the date and moon phase, silicon hair spring, skeletonized rotor with a large double “G” symbol and 21 kt gold oscillation weight.
