This is the new Bell and Ross Br-x5 Carbon Orange limited to only 500 pcs.
One of the main features of this BR-x5 is what’s under the hood. This limited edition is power by the newest Bell and Ross movement, Caliber 323. This is a big upgrade when compare to their traditional ETA or Sellita base calibers. This new movement is done by Kenissi using Tudor based caliber MT5621.
So now you get an automatic movement that is COSC certifiedand can run for up to 72 hours. This new caliber also comes with a Power reserve complication which is display at the 9 O’clock position. Last but not least, with this new movement now you get a 5 year warranty instead of a 2 year as offer with the BR05 line.
The new case design of the BR-x5 Carbon Orange is a complex modular case construction composed of a titanium inner case, sandwich in between 2 panels of carbon composite. The bezel is also made of Titanium with carbon insert. The case measures 41mm in diameter by 12.80 mm in thickness, so it is not small timepiece. But the timepiece would look good even on a wrist as small as 15 cm in circumference.
Under the sapphire crystal is a mate black dial which has an oversize vertical date window at 3 and a large sub-dial at 9 for the power reserve indicator. The applied hour markers and hands have been treated with Superluminova which looks pretty good in the dark.
