The Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 pays tribute to the iconic 1978 Heuer reference 844. This timepiece comes in a special edition box with a complimentary PU leather travel pouch.
This diver’s timepiece takes a modern spin to the very special Heuer 844 with updates that makes it much better equipped for extreme challenges.
The case along with the unidirectional bezel are made of grade 5 titanium with a fine brushed finish and polished edges. The bezel got a significant update on this Aquaracer since it went from a round shape to a 12 sided polygon with a much larger and easier to read black ceramic insert.
The case measures 43 mm without including the screw down crown and it comes paired with a black rubber strap which features a steel deployment buckle that has an adjustment system on the clasp. the screw down crown now keeps this Tag even safer then before under water all the way down to 300 meters! That is 100 meters more than the 844.
And Just like the iconic 844, this one has a mate black dial with large markers and red military scale but the sapphire crystal now comes with a cyclops lens for the date window.
Turn this timepiece around and you will see a solid caseback with an engraved diving helmet motif. Under the hood is caliber 5. This automatic movement works at 4 Hertz and has a power reserve of 38 hours.
This is a great tribute to the Heuer 844 but with updated style and technology that makes it a great value.
The Aquaracer Professional 300 is limited to only 844 pcs worldwide.
