The new Jacob & Co Heart of CR7 is a limited edition timepiece that celebrates soccer superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo.
This timepiece is based on the Epic X V2 which which is a big improvement (aesthetically) when compare to Epic X V1. The entire timepiece is now fully polished and the stepped bezel was updated with a flush smooth bezel. The lugs as well as the caseband have also been updated by removing the raised lip, used in the V1. The crown guards now have a bolder design that extend much further from the bezel and the crown now features a 2 level notched steel tip with a green aluminum sleeve.
The case of this CR7 is crafted from stainless steel and measures 44mm in diameter and 13.5mm in thickness. The case comes paired with a green rubber strap and to hold the timepiece secure to the wrist, this strap comes with a stainless steel pin buckle.
Under the sapphire crystal, is the open dial design that made this collection so exciting when it was first introduced. But unlike the V1 that has open vertical brides, the V2 bridges are now solid. For this limited edition CR7, you have the right pillar engraved with the CR7 logo and Ronaldo’s hand signature and the left pillar has been shaped after him wearing his lucky 7 jersey. Another interesting detail, is the openwork barrel at 12 O’clock which now has a football-shaped cover.
And under the hood, this Heart of CR7 uses manual caliber JCAM45. This is an exclusive caliber done for the Epic X collection and is composed of 158 components. The caliber works at 4 hertz using 21 jewels and the Open worked barrel can keep this CR7 working for up to 48 hours.
The watchmaker only produced 999 pcs of this Heart of CR7.
