The Harry Winston Ocean Dual Time is a sophisticated sport timepiece that has been created for the modern travelers.
The timepiece has a case crafted in Zalium (DLC Coated ) which is a special zirconium alloy unique to Harry Winston watches. The material is much lighter and more corrosion resistant than steel. This black case measures 44mm in diameter and comes paired with a thick black rubber strap with blackened butterfly style deployment buckle.
Under the sapphire crystal is a black dial that features 2 sub-dials for home and local time. Each one has its own day/night indicator. The smaller sub-dial (local) is easily adjusted with the pusher on the left side of the case.
In between the 2 sub-dials is a small spinning shuriken. This is a power indicator showing that the timepiece is running.
Another interesting design element of the dial is the big date indicator by the 6 o’clock position which is displayed horizontally using 2 fully visible black disks.
The crown is in between the large crown guards that flow from the caseband to the bezel. This design is meant to resembles the arches of the New York flagship store.
Under the hood, this Ocean Dual time is using Caliber HW1001 which is based on Girard Perregaux GP3300. This is an automatic movement that works at 4 hertz using Harry Winston exclusive module AGH2841.
The caliber is composed of 272 components which includes 36 jewels and twin barrels in series that keep this timepiece working for up to 45 hours.
