Franck Muller, the master of complications, has release another exciting design with this limited edition Vanguard Skeleton.
The timepiece is limited to only 50 pcs worldwide and has the “Made in Watchland” on the back. Signifying that the brand continues to remain independent. Watchland is the main headquarters of Franck Muller in Geneva and is where concepts and all various stages of watch manufacturing take place allowing the brand to continue to create exceptional timepieces and unique complications.
This Vanguard has a new captivating dial design that consist of an electrifying red anodized skeleton with open worked mainspring barrel and white small second sub-dial with red markers. The execution and level of finish of this dial is just outstanding. The movement also includes a power reserve indicator above the balance wheel for the impressive 7 day power reserve.
Over this impressive red architecture, Franck Muller is using skeletonized rhodium plated hour, minute and seconds hands treated with superluminova for easy reading in dark settings.
Besides all the other exposed gears, you also get a good view of the moving parts of this manual movement. This is caliber FM 1740-VS with 175 parts, working at 2.5 hertz using 21 jewels.
The Tonneau titanium case is the typical Vanguard case design but finished in white with red trimming. The case measures 53.7mm by 44mm and comes paired with a white alligator strap over white rubber with bright red stitching that matches the dial. To secure it to the wrist, Franck Muller is using a white tang buckle.
The case comes with a red conventional crown wrapped in white rubber and water resistance rating of 30 meters.
